The silencer is applied to absorb noise produced during the operation of ventilation equipment and diffused along ducting systems. Suitable for installation in round ducts. The silencer significantly reduces the noise level in the air duct (refer to diagram "
Noise level reduction" in the gallery). For the design of a ventilation system with a low noise level in the room, silencers should be used in combination with insulated fans.
The silencers can be mounted in any position. The installation of several silencers in series is preferable to improve the sound-absorbing effect. To prevent the flexible silencer from bending, it should be fixed not only at the ends but also in the middle.
The galvanised steel casing of the SR silencer is filled with flame-retardant sound-insulating material and provided with a protective coating against fibre leakage. The silencers are equipped with connection flanges with rubber gaskets for tight connection to air ducts.
