The MotherNature CO2 generator is designed to operate in sealed growing environments such as greenhouses or tents. Ideal for fast-growing, carbon dioxide-starved crops, the generator doubles the ppm of carbon dioxide present in the normal atmosphere. Plants grown in a CO2-concentrated environment have been proven to grow faster, thrive at higher temperatures and produce bigger and better fruits and flowers.

HOW TO USE IT:
The CO2 generators are packaged 'dry', allowing them to be easily stored without fear of degradation or unpleasant odours.This means that the generator must be activated before use. Activation is a very simple task.PUMP

When you are ready to use the generator, simply open the lid of the generator and add hot (not boiling) water in one of the following quantities (depending on the size of your CO2 generator):

5 l (1.35 gal) CO2 generator - add 1.25 l (0.33 gal) of hot water to the co2 generator

10 l (2.7 gal) CO2 generator - add 2.5 l (0.66 gal) of hot water to the co2 generator

Wait 24 hours before using the CO2 generator. This 24-hour period is essential for the contents to activate properly. Replace the generator cover after adding water.

Depending on usage, the specially formulated compost and natural bacteria in your generator will last up to six months. Once the contents of the generator are depleted, you can simply empty the generator, clean it and insert a refill of MotherNature CO2. It is always useful to have aCO2 detector to give you an exact idea of CO2 emission levels and when a refill is due.

• The pump size of the MotherNature C02 generator must not exceed 1.3-1.5 litres per minute. We recommend the HAILEA AIR PUMP ACO-2201 FLOW 72L/H
• The CO2 generator should be connected to a timer/lighting relay and should only pump CO2 when the plants need it, during the 'daytime period'.
• While switched off during 'dark periods', the active CO2-producing bacteria come to life, reactivating the CO2 generator
• Bacteria are most active and create the most CO2 at temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius
• Higher levels of CO2 should not be inhaled for long periods of time.
