The air non-return valve has the function of blocking the flow of air through the suction pipes when the vacuum cleaner is switched off. It consists of a galvanised steel retaining structure and aluminium foils that open in the direction of the air flow and close when the air flow is interrupted.
When there is no air flow, the aluminium sheets are kept vertical by a spring.
The valve can be installed on both rigid galvanised sheet metal pipes (spiro pipes) and insulated or uninsulated flexible pipes and plastic pipes. It is important to carefully check the internal diameter of the pipes in the case of plastic pipes.
